For installing software on de Iconnect, you need Serial console access.

You need something that can connect using RS-232 at 3.3V. You can buy on ebay profilic PL2303 cables, that you can use for that.

To make the cable simple to attach and detach the cable you can use a 3.5mm jack (normally used with audio).

You only need 3 connections, GND TX and RX..

Now you can use putty on windows to see how the iconnect boots

On linux you can use the picocom, with paramameter picocom -b 115200 /dev/ttyUSB0
